Our Story

The business was founded on the traditional craft of milling flour, a practice that formed the backbone of operations during its earliest years.

During the next 50 years, flour milling became dominated by large flour mills at ports in the UK, using imported wheat. As a result, the business gradually changed its focus to agricultural merchanting.

The business transitioned to James, George's son, who maintained the focus on agricultural merchanting.

The company relocated from their original Millwalk site to larger premises at New Mill, Lamer Lane, Wheathampstead. This move allowed them to expand their agricultural and pet food offerings, whilst significantly growing our equestrian product range.

The Horseworld shop was opened - focused on offering a massive range of top-quality supplements, tack & clothing to customers across Herts, Beds & Bucks.

The Horseworld e-commerce store launched, offering a wide range of products & exceptional customer service to equestrian customers nationwide.
